Façade Palais Brongniart

Paris Perfume Week is reaching a new milestone. Following two foundational editions in Paris, a summer expansion in Grasse, and a first international edition in Shanghai, the event conceived by Nez—the cultural movement dedicated to olfactory culture—will, for the first time, take up residence at the Palais Brongniart.

From April 9 to 11, 2026, Paris Perfume Week will inhabit this landmark venue in the heart of Paris, more than ever asserting its ambition: to establish perfume as an object of culture, reflection, and contemporary dialogue, at the crossroads of disciplines and perspectives.

An iconic venue: the Palais Brongniart
Formerly the Paris Stock Exchange, the Palais Brongniart will host Paris Perfume Week in 2026, a symbolic year marking both its bicentenary and the 10th anniversary of Nez. A meeting point between heritage and contemporary creation, this setting invites reflection on the practices, narratives, and transformations of a constantly evolving industry.

Smell Talks and Behind the Scent: an expanded programme

At the heart of the event, the Smell Talks will bring together French and international voices — perfumers, creators, researchers, artists, journalists, and entrepreneurs — to explore the major shifts shaping today’s perfumery: new narratives, innovation, transmission of know-how, ecological transition, and the place of the senses in our societies. These talks, held in French and English, will also be available as podcasts after the event.

The Behind the Scent programme will highlight the professions and expertise across the entire value chain, from raw materials to finished products, through round tables, testimonials, and encounters, in an open and educational approach.

An unprecedented selection of brands, exclusive exhibitions
With more than 150 exhibitors from around the world — niche brands, fragrance houses, distributors, raw material producers, schools, institutions, and associations — Paris Perfume Week 2026 will offer a comprehensive panorama of contemporary creation.

Exhibitions and olfactory installations, a specialist bookshop curated by Éditions Nez, book signings, workshops, and an extensive off-site programme will round out this edition, conceived as a living cultural event: accessible, engaging, and deeply rooted in its time.

Scented Sunday : Buona notte Milano, bonjour Paris, by Thomas de Monaco

While scrolling through a LinkedIn notification, we came across a post written by Thomas de Monaco, the eponymous founder of his fragrance brand. Barely recovered from the buzz of Paris Perfume Week, he wanted to share his impressions of a lively trade show—at times a bit cramped—full of both charm and flaws, yet endowed with perhaps its greatest quality: being unmistakably Parisian. Moved by the spontaneity of his text, we asked Thomas if we could publish it on our website, to which he immediately replied, “Sorry for the bad words!” We found them entirely fitting, on the contrary.
