Algorithmic Perfumery: where art, technology, and fragrance meet

Gemini_Generated_Image_2scfns2scfns2scf

Among the must-see highlights of this 2026 edition of Paris Perfume Week, the Algorithmic Perfumery by EveryHuman installation stands out as one of the most compelling explorations of the moment. It is no longer simply a presentation of fragrances, but a true open-air laboratory where the ancestral art of perfumery merges with the power of artificial intelligence. Spectacular in its precision and transparency, the system invites visitors to become the central actors in an instant olfactory creation, conceived as a technological mirror of their identity.

The algorithm interprets, the machine composes

The experience begins with an introspective immersion. Guided by a subtle questionnaire, you are invited to explore your inner landscapes, sensory memories, and most personal affinities. At the other end of the invisible thread of your responses, the algorithm comes to life, translating your emotions into a molecular architecture.

Then, the magic unfolds: before your eyes, the machine springs into action, composing a unique formula, assembling drop by drop the essences that will shape your bespoke sillage. The ritual concludes with a powerful symbolic gesture, as you name your creation yourself before leaving with this bottle—born from an unprecedented dialogue between your intuition and binary computation.

A rare experience in the face of a very contemporary question

More than a simple playful activation, this experience places us at the heart of a thought-provoking and necessary societal reflection. It does not merely produce an object; it questions the role of the creative gesture at a time when artificial intelligence is entering the studio. Is it a tool that elevates the creator, or a new form of collaboration that redefines the very essence of artistic authorship?

By taking part in this fascinating experience, you begin to grasp the evolution of an era in which technology does not replace emotion, but seeks to translate it with almost disconcerting fidelity.

Please note: Access to this experience is limited and strictly by paid reservation (Paris Perfume Week entry ticket and a session ticket). A tip: don’t wait too long to book your time slot if you wish to experience this immersion before the event closes.

Scented Sunday : Buona notte Milano, bonjour Paris, by Thomas de Monaco

While scrolling through a LinkedIn notification, we came across a post written by Thomas de Monaco, the eponymous founder of his fragrance brand. Barely recovered from the buzz of Paris Perfume Week, he wanted to share his impressions of a lively trade show—at times a bit cramped—full of both charm and flaws, yet endowed with perhaps its greatest quality: being unmistakably Parisian. Moved by the spontaneity of his text, we asked Thomas if we could publish it on our website, to which he immediately replied, “Sorry for the bad words!” We found them entirely fitting, on the contrary.
