The Paris Perfume Week is proud to welcome the renowned Maison Cartier among its partner brands. On this occasion, visitors will have the exclusive opportunity to discover the house’s latest collection of perfuming bases—a line that seamlessly blends high jewelry and masterful perfumery.

What is perfume, if not an immaterial jewel, an invisible gem adorning the skin? From the very first Must de Cartier fragrance, launched in 1981, to the latest Panthère Elixir, Cartier’s olfactory creations embody the spirit of the house: a unique fusion of historical heritage and visionary modernity. Under the artistic direction of Mathilde Laurent, the brand unveils a new body ritual this year: Cartier perfuming bases.

Housed in a precious case, the collection features a cream jar and an oil bottle, both adorned with the house’s signature golden gadroons. These perfuming neutral bases can then be customized with four of Cartier’s emblematic fragrances, available as concentrated perfume drops: La Panthère, Oud & Santal, L’Heure Diaphane, and Pure Rose. This allows the fragrance to express itself fully, without interference—a perfect gesture, an ode to refinement.

The Paris Perfume Week will also host an exclusive conference on the Smell Talks stage. In this dazzling conversation, Mathilde Laurent, Cartier’s Director of fragrance creation, and Yohan Cervi, modern perfumery expert and writer for Nez, will explore the success of jewelry house fragrances and how, for decades, luxury jewelers have translated their world into scent.

  • Join the conference “Du parfum au bijou, de précieuses correspondances” on Saturday, March 22, at 11:20 AM, accessible to all Paris Perfume Week ticket holders.
  • A livestream pass also allows you to watch the conference live, online!

  • On Saturday, March 22, at 12:00 PM, Mathilde Laurent will be signing her book The Sense of Scent, published by Nez Editions.
