The Asia Perfume Show is getting ready for takeoff. Following a successful debut focused on China in 2025, the event is expanding its horizons to celebrate the richness and diversity of all Asian perfumery from China and Japan to Korea, Thailand, and beyond. Mark your calendars: the event is now scheduled for three days, from September 23 to 25, 2026, with the first day exclusively reserved for professionals.
This is THE European meeting place dedicated to Asian olfactory scenes. Designed as a hub for networking, discovery, and exchange, the Asia Perfume Show aims to go beyond the purely commercial to shine a spotlight on the cultural richness, creativity, and diverse olfactory approaches developed across Asia.
An Expanded Edition
“The Asia Perfume Show is expanding the format initiated around the Chinese market to now welcome brands from across all of Asia. Alongside a significant Chinese delegation assembled with the support of our partner, Notes Shanghai, the event will also spotlight the Korean, Japanese, and Thai scenes, as well as other particularly dynamic territories,” announces Romain Raimbault, the event’s director.
Nearly forty brands and exhibitors are expected for this first expanded edition, offering visitors a unique panorama of contemporary Asian creation. It is an opportunity to discover new olfactory signatures, original brand narratives, and raw materials—as well as sensibilities rarely seen on the European market—to better understand the dynamics currently shaping Asian perfumery. “The goal is to broaden our perspective on Asia, which is now viewed not just as an export market, but as a true hub of creation and innovation capable of influencing the entire global perfume industry,” adds Raimbault.
Three Days to Understand the Shifts in Asian Perfumery
At the heart of the event, the “Smell Talks” will feature a program of around twenty conferences, round tables, and meetings dedicated to the challenges currently facing Asian perfumery. The stage will be hosted by Dao Nguyen, founder of Essenzia by Dao and an expert in Asian olfactory cultures. At her microphone, brand founders, market experts, distributors, journalists, and professionals will share their experiences on a variety of topics, including international development, cultural specificities, changing consumer expectations, the success of emerging brands, and the evolution of creative practices.
An Event for Professionals… and Enthusiasts
The Asia Perfume Show caters to a wide audience. For the first time, Wednesday will be primarily dedicated to professionals, media, and content creators, with a program focused on B2B networking and exchange. The other two days will be open to all perfume lovers eager to discover brands rarely seen in Europe and to interact directly with their founders and creators. Distributors, retailers, fragrance houses, journalists, influencers, and enthusiasts will be able to connect in a setting that encourages dialogue across the entire industry.
The Bastille Design Center Returns as Host
Returning to the Bastille Design Center, the Asia Perfume Show will occupy both the ground floor and the entire first floor for the first time, doubling its capacity for brands. With nearly 3,000 visitors expected and over 50 buyers and distributors announced, the event aims to establish itself as a key meeting point between the Asian and European perfume markets.
Ticket sales will open soon. In the meantime, professionals and enthusiasts alike can already save the dates: September 23–25, 2026.
