With 11,780 visitors welcomed from April 9 to 11, 2026, the event has fully confirmed its transition to a larger scale. The overall breakdown of the audience (56% general public / 44% professionals) reflects the unique DNA of Paris Perfume Week: an event capable of bringing together, within the same space, the entire perfume ecosystem and a particularly engaged audience of enthusiasts.
This professional dimension was particularly intense from the very start: 58% of visitors were professionals on Thursday, followed by 45% on Friday, before a Saturday more broadly oriented toward the general public, with 28% professional attendance. This attendance pattern illustrates the event’s dual vocation: serving as a business and trend-setting platform at the start of the week, and transforming into a major cultural and experiential gathering as the weekend approaches.
With over 1,000 retailers in attendance throughout the event—alongside distributors, buyers, journalists, content creators, experts, perfumers, institutions, and other key influencers—Paris Perfume Week confirms its unique position in the industry’s international calendar.

This 2026 edition marks a major turning point in the history of Paris Perfume Week. By taking over the Palais Brongniart, the event fully embraced an emblematic landmark of Parisian heritage, transforming it for three days into a true international crossroads for the perfume industry.
With 180 exhibitors and partners, 50 conferences, 5 exhibitions, and a remarkably dense program, Paris Perfume Week 2026 showcased the full richness and diversity of the perfume world: from creation to raw materials, and from technical craftsmanship to cultural, artistic, and contemporary issues.
The exhibition spaces and conference rooms saw a continuous flow of attendees, with presentations drawing packed houses throughout the entire event.
Behind The Scent, one of the major new features of 2026
Among the highlights of this edition, Behind The Scent established itself as one of the major new features of 2026. Conceived as the first forum dedicated to careers and training in the perfume world, this new initiative—supported by L’Oréal Groupe—brought together some twenty key players: fragrance houses, schools, manufacturers, designers, and other professionals committed to knowledge sharing and talent development.

Beyond the trade fair itself, the “off-site” program solidified Paris Perfume Week’s presence throughout the city. With nearly 80 events across the capital—including boutique animations, workshops, guided tours, meet-and-greets, conferences, and evening parties—the event successfully promoted olfactory culture far beyond the walls of the Palais Brongniart.
