Founded in 2022, Barum Parfum is an independent fragrance house whose identity is deeply rooted in the cultural heritage of Sicily. At Grasse Perfume Week, the brand will unveil its latest creations, including the \u00c9lixir Aromatis\u00e9 – an exclusive set that reimagines the art of perfuming. A portrait, by its cofounder Grazia Baudo Artigiani<\/strong>, of a young house with a proudly insular spirit, where sensory innovation meets Mediterranean heritage.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Could you briefly introduce your brand?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barum Parfum is the result of the inspiration and passion my husband and I have for perfumes. The Brand was founded in 2022 to celebrate the sensuality and culture of Sicily, a true treasure of history, tradition and timeless scents. The story of Barum Parfum begins in Butera, our \u201cplace of the heart,\u201d where our love took shape. Bound by a common passion for niche perfumes, we decided to create our own brand to best express the beauty of the island and our unique bond. The Poseidon, Petro, Crono, Evan and Caldera fragrances are a tribute to Sicilian culture and result from a fusion of cultures that have characterized the island over the centuries: from Arab to Greek and Roman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In your opinion, what makes it unique?<\/strong>In my opinion, in addition to our history, what makes it unique is its Box Set, which contains both the Perfume and the Barum Parfum Aromatized Elixir, so that the customer can personalize their olfactory experience by using only the Perfume, only the Elixir, or by layering one on top of the other, creating a perfect layering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What key moments are you planning during the Grasse Perfume Week?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The key moments we have planned during Grasse Perfume Week is to introduce the new way of perfuming: the Aromatized Elixir. Unlike traditional perfume, which is applied only to certain parts of the body, the Elixir can be spread evenly over the entire body, even applying it to the hair and beard. While traditional perfume tends to fade over the course of the day, thanks to Elixir the notes remain intact on the skin for the entire day. It is not a simple fragrance oil but rather an Elixir of beauty, nourishing and moisturizing the skin, leaving it smooth, soft and velvety. It is an extra touch of luxury looking for an extraordinary sensory experience. With the Aromatized Elixir we have the control to choose the amount and area of application, a creative and flexible way to scent ourselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What does the city of Grasse, the cradle of perfumery, mean to you?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Barum Parfum, Grasse represents more than just a geographical location-it is the beating heart of our inspiration and innovation. Grasse is an inexhaustible source of inspiration and quality that continues to shape the future of our Brand Barum Parfum in the international perfumery scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Has the city played a role in your journey or in your brand’s creative universe?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Certainly yes, the city has played a fundamental creative role in our brand Barum Parfum because in addition to the nose Grazia Consiglio and Gianluca Baudo, the fragrances are made by Perfumer Michele Carnevale, a nose who specialized in Grasse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What are your expectations regarding your participation in our event?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barum Parfum’s participation in the prestigious fair in Grasse represents a unique opportunity to consolidate our presence in the international perfume market. Grasse offers an ideal stage for Barum Parfum, eager in showcasing our innovations and connecting with industry leaders. Our goal is to strengthen our brand identity by presenting our creations to a global audience. The event attracts visitors from around the world, giving Barum Parfum a platform to expand our customer base.
