The French Society of Perfumers is a non-profit association.

It was founded in 1942 by a group of perfumers including Gabriel Mazuyer, Justin Dupont, Marcel Billot, and Sébastien Sabetay under the title of “Technical Group of Perfumery”.

Renamed “Union of French Technical Perfumery and Cosmetics” in 1952 and then “Technical Society of Perfumers of France” in 1954, it became “the French Society of Perfumers” in 1999.

With seventy-five years of existence, it now gathers over 900 professionals from the perfumery industry, mainly based in France.

All trades are represented, including perfumer-creators, marketing managers, evaluators, chemists specializing in fragrant raw materials, quality controllers, manufacturing managers, and regulatory managers…
