Aurélien Guichard, Founder and Perfumer, elevates each chosen ingredient through contemporary compositions with a distinctive, long-lasting sillage. Placing excellence in quality at the heart of its approach, the House cultivates its own roses and tuberoses through organic farming in the Grasse region. Aurélien Guichard is the only perfumer in the world to grow his own ingredients.

The flagship boutique in rue Saint Honoré was opened in June 2025. It was conceived to reflect Matière Première deep connection to raw materials, expressed through a contemporary, minimalist aesthetic.
